The 10,000 Kickstarter goal has been met in 12 hours! The campaign is now at 135% funded!

Hey! I am Lente :)

I am a 23-year-old solo indie game developer from The Netherlands. I grew up on a ship here.

I've been making games for a long time but decided to take it serious at the end of 2022.

I managed to fulfil a longtime dream of mine and buy my own small boat to live on, which lowered my cost of living, and allowed me to focus more on making games!

While renovating the boat with my mom, I started working on 'Spilled!', a relaxing eco-conscious game in which you clean up oil spills with a boat.

With this game, I hope to bring awareness to the pollution problem, and inspire other developers to make similar games!

Over the last year, I’ve been sharing the progress of the game on Twitter. People really seem to like the game, and we’ve since grown a community of over 17,000 people on Twitter and a whopping 14,000 wishlists on Steam!

Now, with me having a really solid vision of what I want Spilled! to be, and the ever-increasing attention the game is getting; I felt like a Kickstarter is a logical next step.

The Kickstarter so far.

The €10,000 Kickstarter goal has been met in 12 hours! The campaign is now at 135% funded!
All my expectations have been blown away!

It’s not over yet, I just announced the first Stretch Goal; which is adding a Level Selector to the game!
This goal is set at €15,000 and the campaign is already at €13,500!

I have more exciting stretch goals planned, and it would be a dream come true if I can reach them all!

To give a hint at the unrevealed stretch goals; I will be adding more context to the world; who made this mess of oil spills?
Maybe at the end of the game you’ll be able to stop them!

I want to make this game the best it can be, giving it the attention I feel it deserves.
This means hiring people to help me with development and marketing, and through your help with the Kickstarter, I can make this dream a reality!
