Malmö, Sweden, February 1st, 2024 - Indie developer Grenaa Games, in partnership with publisher Dear Villagers, are happy to announce that the fourth and final major update to its wholesome fairytale township builder Fabledom is out now on Steam Early Access. This latest update, A Wedding in a Chateau, will see exciting new mechanics and buildings make their appearance such as Marriage and Castles!
The Castle, a rare and prestigious structure, plays a crucial role in the late game. This unique building unlocks a new series of constructions where eminent Nobles will find a safe haven! Among those constructions are the Ministries, which provide passive bonuses to your entire city.
However, the jewel of the Castle remains the "Feasting Hall," where the third romantic date with a leader takes place. This marriage represents the culmination of the romance quests with these leaders, but it requires a more challenging and extended quest than the previous ones. This adventure culminates in a memorable wedding ceremony at the Feasting Hall, accompanied by a captivating cinematic animation.
It was a rich and exciting year for Fabledom and it is now time for its emergence out of Early Access!????????????

About the game
Set in a storybook kingdom of trolls, knights, and princesses, Fabledom offers a casual, relaxing approach to the city builder. Create your settlement from the ground up and fill it with castles, barracks, farms, fields, houses and more. Customize your buildings to fit your vision with a range of decorations and utilities available to create the coziest, most functional village in all the land!
Find yourself a Prince or Princess Charming and marry for love! Or money! Diplomacy is the name of the game in feudal times, and Fabledom’s extensive negotiation mechanics let you unite for mutual interest - or clash for domination. Romance will strongly shape the way you play the game and interact with your neighbors, and every courtship brings new ways to establish your village as essential to the region.
Grenaa Games is a tiny two-person studio but worked hard to add continual updates to Fabledom throughout the Early Access process. More buildings, types of fablings, fairy tale encounters, expanded romance and diplomacy options, and much more!
