Discover the winners of the Pégases 2024!  

After a ceremony rich in emotion, Chants of Sennaar (Rundisc / Focus Entertainement) et Soldats Inconnus: Frères d’Armes (Old Skull Games / Ubisoft Montpellier) were the big winners with 3 Pégases each 


Paris, the 8th of March 2024 – Last night, at La Cigale in Paris and live on France.tv Slash, the 5th Ceremony of the Pégases took place. Presented by Salomé Lagresle and Samuel Etienne, the Pégases brought together French gamers and video game enthusiasts to marvel at the performances and announcements of the major players in the French video game industry.  

19 Pegasuses were awarded to studios and personalities who have contributed to the development of the French video game industry in 2023. Details of the winners can be found on the official website

Highly acclaimed by critics and the public since its release in September of last year, this game offers a puzzle-filled adventure in a striking aesthetic inspired by the myth of Babel. The player takes on the role of a traveler whose goal is to reunite the Peoples of the Tower, divided since the dawn of time.

EXCELLENT NARRATIVE 

Released in 2014, the Soldats Inconnus series sees players play through an emotionally charged story set during the First World War. Soldats Inconnus: Frères d'Armes was released in January 2023 in collaboration with Netflix, as part of its mobile games collection. The game picks up where its predecessor left off in 1917 and follows two brothers as they struggle to survive in the trenches and find each other. 

  • The presence of the Minister of Culture: Rachida Dati, and the State Secretary for the Digital Sector: Marina Ferrari  

Rachida Dati, the Minister of Culture, honored the Pégases with her presence, not only to exchange views with various players in the video game sector, but also to present the Personality of the Year Award to Mickael Newton, President of Loisirs Numériques. Marina Ferrari, the Secretary of State for the Digital Sector, was also at the Pégases to present the International Honorary Award to Muriel Tramis, a renowned French video game designer who notably created the Adibou license.  

  • The French creative industry has plenty of surprises for 2024 

Just Dance, one of the most played French video games in the world, presented its new duet dance in partnership with the CNC and the Château de Versailles at the Cultural Olympics. Players can enjoy a revisited period dance taking place during a wild evening at the Château de Versailles. 

The viewers were also presented with 4 trailers of games to follow and add to their wish lists this year in 2024:  

Firstly, Microids, a French video game developer and publisher specializing in adventure games, presented their next two games: Amerzone and Les Fourmis. After, Humble Reeds, a French studio specializing in cosy games, revealed more details on their upcoming game: Kamaeru. And finally, Old Skull Games, a French studio with over 12 years' experience, invited members of its production team to shed light on the creative processes behind their next rogue-builder: Cryptical Path.
