One Week Left to Back Elder Mythos, a New TTRPG Where You Embody the Elder Gods Themselves

Take on the role of one of 12 Lovecraftian Elder Gods and pursue unique and disturbing goals. The project surpassed its initial goal in just 18 minutes and has received over $80,000 USD in funding from over 1,100 backers.
Backers can support Elder Mythos at several pledge tiers:
- The Initiate — PDF version of the book (available in English and Italian)
- The Cultist — Physical hardcover edition and PDF version of the book
- The Unspeakable One — A deluxe boxed edition containing the hardcover book, GM screen, deck of cards, dice set, and the PDF edition of the book
As part of Elder Mythos's digital release, Mana Project Studio will implement digital content that adds a Solo Mode and an optimized 2 Player Mode. The Solo Mode is structured around RPG journaling and has the player grappling with its Great Design. The Eldritch Master is automated by a flow of rules designed to react to the player's actions. Thanks to a series of prompt tables, the EM Resources (the human NPCs) will act in the scene in ways sometimes unexpected, other times reacting to the cosmic horrors that you'll unleash. In the 2 Player Mode, one player will act as the Elrditch Master, while the other works to complete objectives as a lone Elder God. Both modes will be available in PDF format for all backers of all pledge levels.
About Elder Mythos
From The Great Dreamer itself, Cthulhu, to Yog-Sothoth, The Key and The Gate, players will embody the Elder Gods themselves. Manipulate your cultists, nightmarish creatures, and priestly figures of immense power as expendable resources to craft a terrifying plot amid catastrophes and consequences, all while your fellow players try to betray and best you. Will you be able to hold control in the midst of chaos?
Using a Year Zero System hack, Elder Mythos is designed as a zero-prep game where players control the fates of entire cities as eldritch entities. Players must manage conflict with their fellow Elder Gods while twisting the rules and wresting control from the Eldritch Master to rule the world and drive its inhabitants to madness.
Elder Mythos features unique system and setting mechanics for playing as the Elder Gods of the Lovecraftian Mythos, including collaborative worldbuilding, cult management, conflict management, eldritch manifestations, and more. The book contains five scenarios the Eldritch Master can run players through while hampering their machinations with the Eldritch Masters Resources.
