Wednesday, 28 August 2024, Cambridge, UK. Old School RuneScape players, prepare to jump into battle against a new eight-legged adversary as venomous villain Araxxor arrives in-game today.
Marking 10 years since Araxxor’s debut in the original RuneScape, this classic creepy crawly lurks into Old School RuneScape as a completely reimagined solo combat encounter. Hunt down this supersized spider from deep within the murky swamps of Morytania, while fending off swarms of araxxytes keeping players away from its nest.
Head into battle in Araxxor’s hidden lair, contending with venomous acid and oversized fangs in this melee-focused Slayer Boss fight. But, with abundant spoils to claim for players who reign victorious, taking down this enormous arachnid is well worth the fight.
Defeat Araxxor to unlock plentiful rewards, the Noxious Halberd, the new best-in-slot Amulet of Rancour, the cute (but still creepy crawly) Araxxor pet, and much, much more.
As a major new boss encounter, Araxxor is the first Slayer Boss to be introduced to Old School RuneScape since Alchemical Hydra in 2019, delivering a challenging fight for both new players and veterans alike.
