PAX West 2025: Join Tripwire Interactive Saturday, Aug. 30 for a Live Developer Panel Looking at Future Content and Updates Planned for Killing Floor 3
WHO
Tripwire Interactive is an independent developer and publisher based in Roswell, Georgia. Formed in 2005, the studio has developed and self-published multiple critically acclaimed titles in the wildly popular Killing Floor, Red Orchestra, and Rising Storm series as well as the hit action RPG, Maneater. In 2019 the company expanded its business with its publishing division Tripwire Presents, a developer-first publisher that helps talented independent studios bring their creative visions to players worldwide, with titles including NORSE: Oath of Blood, The Stone of Madness, Rogue Waters, Chivalry 2, DECEIVE INC., Espire 1: VR Operative and Espire 2 and more. Currently, the studio is focusing internal development efforts on live support for Killing Floor 3, the latest installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series that launched worldwide on July 24 of this year. Tripwire Interactive is a standalone entity within the Embracer Group.
WHAT
Join the Tripwire Interactive team for their live panel at PAX West, "Killing Floor 3: The Road to More Guns, Gore, and Gadgets", where they will discuss and show an early look at in-development content coming to Killing Floor 3 in the first major updates following its launch. During the panel, the team will dive deep into the upcoming Rearmament update, including the decoupling of Specialists from Perks and new weapons that will be part of the free update. Looking ahead to Season 2, Operation Outbreak, the team will walk attendees through the process of creating the new Jungle Prison map, included in the update, from concept phase to final design, and unveil the first new Zed being added to the game post-launch. WHERE
The panel will take place in the Blue Dragon Theater (The Summit, Level 5), in the Seattle Convention Center. Fans not attending PAX West can also tune in as the panel will be streamed live and watchable via VOD upon its conclusion on the official PAX Twitch and YouTube channels.
