In Aztecs: The Last Sun, you will become Tlatoani, the divine ruler of the Aztec people. Your task: Construct, grow and protect the magnificent city state Tenochtitlan on the treacherous foundation of Lake Texcoco. But this is a historical city builder unlike any other. During the day, you have to learn and master the complex connections of economy, military and religion, as you build and extend resource chains, offer housing to your people and terraform the area to satisfy the ever-growing needs of the citizens. Yet at night, you have to defend your people against the attacks of the relentless Moon Goddess, who declared war on the Sun God and wants to eradicate you and your followers as his loyal servants. Defend your temple at all costs, because if it falls, doom will follow.
Feel the tension fueled by the duality of creation and survival, as you set up the “Blood Zone”, an expandable safe area, in which you can build under a protective dome. Optimize resource streams, deal with special events and make decisions that will define your fate as a ruler, for you are not just building structures or managing resources. You lay a foundation of hope against the impending darkness and manage the very blood that can make difference between survival and eradication of your people - literally.
