Poker Meets Mahjong: Martial Arts Card Battler "Kungfu Card" Enters Early Access on August 10th
Kungfu Card, winner of Dice Con's Best Chinese Indie Board Game of the Year, will be released on Steam in Early Access on August 10th with a price of $4.99 / £4.59 / €5.19 and a 10% off for 14 days. The game, developed by ZeroCastle Game Studio and Miwu Studio and published by 2P Games, transforms traditional martial arts into a tactical card play creating a unique gameplay where every counter feels like a Jackie Chan movie.
The Early Access version refines combat mechanics and adds a new "Rooftop Cat Martial Artist" skin. Featuring sound effects and hilarious animations, paired with in-game taunts and special glossy cards. The current version allows for 1vs1 multiplayer battles and a 4–8 player battle royale mode is planned for later versions.
ABOUT THE GAME
Kungfu Card removes complex energy costs and replaces them with pure psychological warfare. Using simple hand rankings from 1 to 9 and four basic moves: Fist, Palm, Leg, and Elbow , which players can chain and combine to create dazzling martial arts combos.
Channeling the essence of classic Hong Kong kung fu films, players can fluidly switch between Offensive, Defensive, and Feint Stances, or trigger a "Disrupt" ability that will turn the tables. This "easy to learn, hard to master" approach allows players to focus on the mind games: do you probe your opponent with small moves, or build your hand for a decisive strike?
GAME MODES
In the current version, players can enjoy the following game modes:

Martial Tournament mode: Build your reputation and sharpen your moves against Mirror Phantoms in single-player Roguelike runs. These phantoms are echoes of players who have prevailed.

Ranked 1vs1 Matches: Test your skills against other players in intense online or local 1v1 matches.
In later updates, the following modes will be implemented: -
Skirmish Zone: Battle 4–8 players in chaotic, last-one-standing matches. Whether climbing the ranks or dueling friends, every fight tests your martial prowess.

Challenging game modes: sharpen your moves in the single-player Roguelike runs, or compete in ranked 1v1 Arena Matches using secret martial manuals. A post-launch update will also introduce the 4–8 player battle royale raising the stakes and chaos to a whole new level.
