I was surprised to see only one Chocograph FAQ made, and I have not seen one at
all that was not in actual chronological order of when you can get them, simply
in numerical order (which might confuse some people as to when they can
actually go and get the Chocograph dug up). Hopefully this will help people
who are unsure as to when they can actually get to each Chocograph on the list.
This is the order that I find them all, including all Mountain Cracks and Dive
spots (so now you can get the Debu Chocobo card as well).
I assume you know how to play the Hot and Cold game already; if you don't there
are already a few FAQ's about how to. Here we go.
First up are where you can find each Chocograph during the Hot and Cold
mini-game. The 'pieces' refer to Chocograph #20. You have to find all 6 pieces
of it to make the Chocograph.

1-Streamside
2-Between Mountains
3-Uncultivated Land
4-Healing Shore
5-Abandoned Beach
6-Cold Field

10-Bird's-eye Lagoon
11-Small Beach

Chocograph/Mountain Crack/Dive area Chronological Order.
Go in this exact order of these, and you will find everything without much
trouble. Do not go in numerical order; as you cannot get all of the
Chocographs that way.
'Field' refers to the regular, original Chocobo.
'Reef' refers to the first upgrade, the Blue version of Choco that can run over
shallow water.
'Mountain' refers to the second upgrade, the Red version of Choco that can run
over shallow water and over most land masses.
--Dead Peppers can be found in the Hot and Cold game after receiving the red
Mountain upgrade. Dead Peppers are needed to enter the Mountain Cracks, Dive
Spots, as well as the Chocobo's Sky Garden.--
'Sea' refers to the third upgrade, the Black version of Choco that can run over
shallow water, most land masses, and deep water as well.
'Sky' refers to the final upgrade, the Gold version of Choco that can fly. In
order to fly, ride Choco into a forest and then hit the accept button. You can
only land while above a forest.
Most dive spots are signified by bubbles rippling in the ocean.
Mountain cracks are what they should be; cracks in a mountain wall.
Chocograph Locations
-Disc 1-
1-Streamside (Field)-Go check where the river meets the ocean, kupo.
Across bridge southwest of Chocobo Forest.
Contains: 2 Elixir, 3 High Potion, 4 Ether, 2 Germinas Boots.
2-Between Mountains (Field)-Go look near the mountains facing the ocean on the
southwest side of the Mist Continent.
Coast northwest of Lindbulm.
Contains: 5 Potion, 5 High Potion, 2 Tent, 2 Cotton Robe.
4-Healing Shore (Field)-I've seen a beach that looks like this near a city with
high winds, kupo.
Beach west of Burmecia.
Contains: Blue Reef upgrade.
10-Bird's-eye Lagoon (Reef)-There are so many small islands surrounding the
Mist Continent, kupo!
Island west of Qu's Marsh; Mist Continent.
Contains: 8 Potion, 4 Phoenix Down, 3 Ether, 1 Magician Robe.
11-Small Beach (Reef)-It's a beach on a small island! A great place to
vacation, kupo.
Island in bay east of Lindbulm.
Contains: 4 Remedy, 2 Elixir, 8 Rising Sun, 1 Oak Staff.

5-Abandoned Beach (Field)-I think there's a beach near a huge dying forest.
That might be it, kupo.
Gegalrich Shores-Southeast of Qu's Marsh at Outer Continent.
Contains: 9 Phoenix Pinion, 5 Phoenix Down, 12 Peridot, 1 Diamond Gloves.

6-Cold Field (Field)-Looks like a very cold place, kupo...
Quelmiera Shores-East of Esto Gaza.
Contains: 5 Echo Screen, 7 Hi-Potion, 3 Tent, 1 Theater Ship Card.
7-Forgotten Lagoon (Reef)-Kupo! Why not go play in some icy-cold water?
South of Terra (Shimmering Island).
Contains: 8 Gysahl Greens, 5 Ether, 7 Hi-Potion, 1 Dragon's Claws.
9-Abandoned Lagoon (Reef)-I hear there's a sunken treasure near a peninsula in
the southern part of the Outer Continent, kupo.
Water south of Iifa Tree.
Contains: 6 Soft, 4 Ether, 1 Feather Boots, 1 N-Kai Armlet.
12-Dawn Lagoon (Reef)-It's near a city where the light never ends.
Water south of Treno.
Contains: Red Mountain Ability.
3-Uncultivated Land (Field {Mountain})-The treasure is buried near a river,
kupo, but I don't think it'll be easy to find.
Zamo Basin (Directly north of Treno, east side of river).
Contains: 10 Antidote, 1 Jade Armlet, 3 Wing Edge, 1 Cargo Ship Card.
13-Forbidden Forest (Mountain)-The forest lies where many mountain ranges
merge, kupo!
Nolrich Heights (Slightly west of Dali).
Contains: 7 Ether, 2 Elixir, 10 Wing Edge, 1 High Mage Staff.
14-Green Plains (Mountain)-There are treasures on the high plains, too, kupo!
Alexandria Plateau (northwest of Evil Forest, across mountain).
Contains: Black Sea Ability.
8-Faraway Lagoon (Reef {Sea})-I heard there is a long stretch of reef... That
might be it, kupo.
East of Crescent-shaped peninsula on northwestern section of the Forgotten
Continent.
Contains: 37 Potion, 6 Magic Tag, 1 Shield Armor, 1 Gaia Gear.
Dive Spot 1-Due north of Alexandria.
Contains: 8 Straw Hat, 8 Pearl Armlet, 7 Aloha T-shirt, 8 Sandals.
Dive Spot 2-North of Conde Petie, in line with Frozen Continent and Mognet
Island.
Contains: 50 Potion, 25 Hi-Potion, 9 Ether, 7 Elixir.
Dive Spot 3-Slightly north of the southeastern tip of the Forgotten Continent.
Contains: 10 Remedy, 1 Black Robe, 1 Genji Gloves, 1 Blue Narciss Card.
18-Ocean (Sea)-Look carefully! There's a small reef, kupo!
Just west of the forested area of Forgotten Continent's west peninsula.
Contains: 27 Ore, 1 Light Robe, 1 Whale Whisker, 1 Alexander Card.
17-Sea at Dusk (Sea)-There must be more treasures deeper in the ocean.
Just east of the center of the Forgotten Continent.
Contains: 15 Phoenix Pinion, 1 White Robe, 1 Diamond, 1 Masamune Card.
19-Cold Lagoon (Sea)-What a complicated cove. The water looks very cold, kupo.
Bay on north-central coast of Frozen Continent.
Contains: 11 Peridot, 9 Opal, 15 Sapphire, 19 Topaz.
Dive Spot 4-Quan's Dwelling (Look at bucket).
Contains: 9 Garnet, 15 Topaz, 1 Tiger Racket, 1 Red Rose Card.
15-Dusk Plains (Mountain)-What a beautiful sunset, kupo!
Southwest of Oeilvert.
Contains: 12 Phoenix Down, 14 Ore, 1 Kaiser Knuckle, 1 Iron Man Card.
Mountain Crack 2-north of Oeilvert.
Contains: 1 Maiden Prayer, 1 Dragon's Hair, 1 Gauntlets, 1 Odin Card.
Mountain Crack 3-Next to forest directly north of Oeilvert.
Contains: 19 Eye Drops, 1 Madain's Ring, 1 Genji Helmet, 1 Hilda Garde 1 Card.
16-Forgotten Plains (Mountain)-The long peninsula sort of points to the
location of the treasures, kupo.
Southwest of Ipsen's Heritage (Castle).
Contains: 17 Ore, 5 Ether, 14 Opal, 1 Demon's Mail.
20-Mist Ocean (Sea)-Look around the small islands located in the northeastern
shore of the Mist Continent.
(All 6 Chocograph Pieces put together, after getting Hilda Garde 3-northeast of
Alexandria).
Contains: Gold Flying Chocobo Ability.
22-Outer Island 2 (Sky)-I think there's a desert nearby, kupo.
North-northwest of Desert Empress (Palace).
Contains: 11 Sapphire, 1 Circlet, 1 Pumice Piece, 1 Hilda Garde 3 Card.
Mountain Crack 4-Island north of Qu's Marsh (Outer Continent).
Contains: Mognet Central.
Mountain Crack 5-northwest corner of the world.
Contains: Chocobo's Paradise.
24-Forgotten Island (Sky)-What a strange shape for an island, kupo.
Island east of Ipsen's Heritage (Castle).
Contains: 1 Ribbon, 1 Rebirth Ring, 13 Amethyst, 1 Ark Card.
23-Fairy Island (Sky)-There's a mountain on the middle of the island.
Mountainside southwest of Iifa Tree.
Contains: 33 Potion, 15 Annoyntment, 1 Holy Miter, 1 Dark Matter Card.
21-Outer Island (Sky)-Kupo. It isn't a very big island.
Northeast of Desert Empress (Palace).
Contains: 21 Amethyst, 16 Garnet, 1 Genji Armor, 1 Ragnarok.
