Star Trek. One of the greatest television shows of our time. Where would we be
without it? More importantly, where would we be with a few less Redshirts?
Probably where we are right now. The purpose of this guide is to inform you of
every possible way you can sacrifice your willing Security Officer. Or, as most
Star Trek fans refer to them as, Redshirts. So sit back, relax, and laugh
as your loyal Redshirt gives his life for your entertainment.
Note:
A * indicates that your entire party dies along with the Redshirt.
A + indicates that the rest of the party could die if something isn't done
about the situation.

Mission 1: DEMON WORLD
Death 1: Boulder
Location: Inside the cave, in front of the door
How: When you clear the rocks blocking the door, shoot the rocks in the
upper right first. A boulder will become dislodged from the pile and roll
straight at Kirk. Your Redshirt will dive and push Kirk out of harm's way,
then will be crushed by the oncoming boulder.
How to Avoid: Shoot the boulder on the upper left of the pile first.

Death 2: Shock
Location: Inside cave, after rocks have been cleared
How: Repeatedly use your Redshirt on the closed panel, above the injured
miner. Eventually, he will be hit with a shock so severe he will be vaporized.
How to Avoid: Don't use your Redshirt on the panel.

Death 3: Vaporization*
Location: Inside the Nauian sleeping chamber
How: After the Nauian appears, use your phaser on him twice.
The Nauian will become enraged and vaporize the entire landing party.
How to Avoid: Don't use your phaser on the Nauian.

Mission 2: HIJACKED
Death 1: Vaporization+
Location: Inside the Masada's brig
How: Don't kill the Elasi pirates in time. Sometimes, your guard is
only stunned, other times, he's killed. The Elasi will continue firing
at your party until they are both killed.
How to Avoid: Kill/Stun the Elasi before they can get a shot off.

Death 2: Vaporization+
Location: On the bridge of the Masada
How: Don't kill/stun the guards fast enough or don't talk to
Cereth in time. The Elasi will continue firing at your party until they
are all dead or you have gotten Cereth to surrender.
How to Avoid: Kill/stun the guards or make Cereth surrender.

Mission 3: LOVE'S LABOR JEOPARDIZED
Death 1: Vaporization
Location: Center room on the ARK7.
(Room with Virus culture freezing unit)
How: Use your Redshirt on the ladder leading down to the
lower decks before knocking out the Romulans.
How to Avoid: Don't use your Redshirt on the ladder or
knock out all the Romulans first.

Mission 4: ANOTHER FINE MESS
[NO KNOWN DEATHS]

Mission 5: FEATHERED SERPENT
Death 1: Eaten Alive
Location: The river with the monster in it
How: Use your Redshirt on the log going across the river.
He will make it halfway, and then he will be dragged underwater
by the creature and become dinner.
How to Avoid: Throw the plant leaf in the water.

Death 2: Radiation*
Location: The tunnel on the Klingon world, after making it past the
first room and not using the alternate code on the door.
How: Shoot the red ball with your phaser on the kill setting.
The ball will multiply, and the landing party will die of extreme radiation
exposure.
How to Avoid: Shoot the ball with your phaser on stun, then kill.

Death 3: Vaporization+
Location: Third part of the tunnel.
How: Don't shoot the Klingon when he appears. He will continue firing until
he is killed.
How to Avoid: Kill the Klingon the second he starts to appear.

Death 4: Bomb*
Location: Third room of the tunnel
How: Attempt to exit the tunnel. A bomb will go off, killing the entire landing
party.
How to Avoid: Beam up instead.
