This is the final version of this FAQ for CS 1.6, I will not be making any more
updates to it.

The following FAQ is for anyone who would like to change the weapons from the
fake retail names to the original Counter-Strike mod version weapon names.
Also note that this only fixes the old-style buy menus, NOT the VGUI buy menus.

First, here's how to make the text file for the weapon names to go in...

- Open up the:

C:\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\youremail\counter-strike\cstrike

folder.

- Right-Click anywhere in the folder, from the pop-up list go to New >>> Text
Document.

*** Use Notepad for creating / editing your configs to prevent any possible
problems ***

- Rename the text document to "titles".

- Copy and paste the following text into the titles.txt document and save when
you exit.

*** Start copying from "Team_Select" all the way down the last "}" below the
"#Cstrike_TitlesTXT_Cstrike_Already_Own_Weapon" line. ***

*** While highlighting and scrolling, if you move your mouse cursor left and
right continuously it will begin to scroll much faster. ***
