Part 1: Updates
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Version 0.3 12/21/99:
Put in the Parental Lockout Code in the 'Frequently Asked Questions'
section. See my Expert FAQ or Secrets FAQ for details on it.

Version 0.2 12/12/99:
I haven't done much, since I covered about everything there is, so I
just added two things to the Special Thanks section. But I did add a
new 'Moves' Damage' section. Similar to the 'Move Analysis' section of
my Raekwon and Method Man, as well as my Ehrgeiz character guides,
Guides, this section lists the damage for each move, but it doesn't have
a move analysis.
I was also asked another question by some people about my high scores
and stuff. Check that out in the Frequently Asked Questions section. It
seems I'm not getting any mail relating to stuff I need, I just get
people asking me for the Parental Lockout Code, secrets, or telling me
how excellent I have done with these FAQs, even telling me things that
are already in my FAQs as well.

Part 2: What's Wu-Tang: Shaolin Style? (General Details)
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Now, I don't know everything about this game, or even individual
characters. If you want to know, I'm still trying to find out all of
ODB's moves, I'm missing quite a few. If you want to help with it,
then just E-mail me.
Okay, this game is a [up to] four-player fighting game. It's based on
the fighting engine of Thrill Kill, which was being made quite a while
back. Each character has their own unique strengths and weaknesses.
There are a lot of secrets to get, and to get those secrets, you have to
play through the Story Mode with every single character and get all of
the Chambers (36 of them).
This guide is just for one character: ODB.

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
As it says in the name above, these are "My Okay Juggles," which
means these aren't my BEST juggles, but the average Joe Schmoe ODB
juggles. I would like to list my best ones, but...I'm not going to
spread my secrets over the world. You might not be able to execute them
anyway, since they require some good timing and stuff. Sorry about this.

Part 5: Strategy, Hints, and Tips
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Basic Strategy:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you're playing against someone who can do Tech Rolls really easily,
which can be done really easily anyway, then OTG combos usually don't
work on people like them.
Now, you'll need some basic knowledge of this game. You can find some
of it in the Basics section of this FAQ. You will also need some basic
survival tips. If you want to learn the hard way, which I had to, then
you'll play through Story Mode and find out yourself, if not, I'll tell
you some tips.

- Evasion: you'll need to avoid enemy attacks, especially when they
jump you, as well as Raged and/or cheap enemies
- Defense: you'll need to block a lot, especially when you're getting
jumped or fighting against a Raged enemy; block until they're open
then attack them with something quick and strong that'll knock them
down
- Offense: you'll need to attack a lot as well, but be careful with
what attacks you use, don't risk doing a high-powered, slow move that
would leave you open for a wide period of time, otherwise you can get
killed; also, if you fight against someone who just keeps on blocking
forever, keep doing really, really quick attacks (quick start up and
recovery) and just do that forever, if that doesn't work...
- Throwing: throw them, if you're fighting against someone who just
loves to block and waits for an opportunity to attack, then just
throw them while they're blocking, that'll teach 'em
- Sneaking Up: if you're on a team, try sneaking up behind an enemy and
attack/throw them to give an opportunity for your partner(s) to
attack

Survival Tips:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you really want some survival tips, they're above. To have
individual survival tips for each character, just play through Story
Mode with each character. You'll learn what it takes to survive with
the character you are using. I can't really help you out here, except
with ODB. But they can be described above and throughout the Story
Mode Walkthrough.

Mix-Ups and Juggles:
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Mix-Ups...what the freak is that!? Well, if you read one of my Ehrgeiz
Character Guides, you'd know what it is. A mix-up...is exactly what it
is, a mix-up. You have some moves that you trade off between that have
different start up and recovery times that might trick your opponent
into doing something you can attack them. You "mix" between them and you
should be able to attack your opponent if you use it correctly.
As for juggling, ODB is pretty good, and you should be able
to think of some your own and if you think it's worthy/good enough, send
it to me and I'll think about it. If I already know it, then I won't
list it, maybe I will. It depends on what I feel like doing.

|Staten Island| Stages
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Courtyard:
There are three enemies here, two with one life, and the other with
two lives, while you get four lives. The enemies are Suang Dao, Wuji,
and Shrui Shan (he has two lives). Suang Dao is Rza's rival; Wuji:
Gza; Shrui Shan: ODB.
Try shaking off two of the guys and keep one of them isolated with you
so you can beat that guy up (try to make it a guy with one life). Once
that guy's dead, go after the other one life guy. After he's dead, then
you're only left with the last guy. It should be really easy. Just
juggle your way to his death. If during anytime of the battle your Rage
Meter is full, use it ASAP and kill them off.

Bonus Area - Courtyard:
Your enemy is Juwen Long (U-God's rival). He has three lives while
you are given four. This shouldn't be too hard. Just keep juggling his
sorry @$$ until he dies.

Under the Bridge:
Your enemy is Chang Dao Fu (Method Man's rival). She and you have
three lives each. For a beginner, this could be difficult, but just try
juggling her to her death.

Chinese Barge:
Your enemy is Wudi So (Inspectah Deck's rival). In this stage, you
will be given a random partner (from the Wu-Tang Clan). Wudi So has
four lives, while you have three and your partner has two. It
shouldn't be too hard since there are two of you guys, and only one
of him. Keep him isolated and just keep attacking.

Bonus Area - Barge:
Your enemies are Shrui Shan and Nan Wang. Shrui Shan is the rival
of ODB, Nan Wang: Raekwon. You will have a random partner (from the
Wu-Tang Clan). You and your partner will each have two lives, while
your opponents have three lives each. You take care of one of the
enemies while your partner gets the other. Try getting rid of one of
your opponent's lives, then attack the other opponent for a while until
your original opponent comes back. Once you have a full Rage meter, use
it and kill these enemies quickly.
__ _________ ___________________________________________________________
|Chinatown| Stages
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Warehouse:
Your enemies are Jin Gang and Wuji. Jin Gang is Ghostface Killah's
rival while Wuji is Gza's rival. Jin Gang has two lives, Wuji one, and
you three.

Bonus Area - Warehouse 1:
Your opponent is Wuji (Gza's rival). He has two lives while you have
three. It shouldn't be hard, since you have an advantage. Get rid of him
just by juggling him to death.

Bonus Area - Warehouse 2:
Your opponents are Wudi So (Inspectah Deck's rival) and Shrui Shan
ODB's rival). You will be given a random partner (from the Wu-Tang Clan
of course) and you must kill ten of your opponents total. You and your
partner each have three lives. This might be pretty difficult if you
aren't good enough. But really, you just have to beat on one guy until
he dies, then help out your partner to kill the guy he's fighting. Once
you have a full Rage meter, activate it and go on a killing rampage. You
should be able to kill at least three guys while Raged. Then it's pretty
simple then.

Chinatown Square:
Your enemy is Nan Wang, Raekwon's rival. You each have three lives.
Watch out for him, he's pretty tough, alright. But he isn't too hard.
Just juggle him in the corner and it should be over just like that.
Activate your Rage meter as soon as you get it and it'll be even easier.

Bonus Area - Chinatown:
Your enemy is Jin Gang (Ghostface Killah's rival). He has three lives
while you have two. You will have two random partners (from the Wu-Tang
Clan, of course, I can stop saying this now, I hope) that have one life
each. Jin Gang's Rage meter fills up really quickly, and if he does one
Jackhammer throw, you'll die, as well as your partners if it's done on
them. Keep on attacking him, and juggle him as much as possible. Once
you have a full Rage meter, use it. Your partners aren't always so
smart, so you'll have to take on Jin Gang by yourself sometimes and it
isn't funny. But with teamwork (or just some really good juggles), Jin
will be dead...eventually.

Chinatown Sewers:
Your enemies are Suang Dao (Rza's rival) and Chang Dao Fu (Method
Man's rival). You have to protect a random partner from the two enemies.
All participants in this battle have one life each. Block/evade a lot,
but try not to go towards your friend, otherwise they'll attack him when
they get close. If you can, push your opponent into a corner, get away,
and fight the opponents. This should be a pretty easy battle. Once your
Rage meter is full, use it, and it'll be really easy to kill your
opponents.

Airport Hangar:
There will be an infinite number of Gan Wuyin (Masta Killa's rival),
but only three on the screen at a time. They have no power, so they die
after one hit, but they just keep on coming. You are given four lives.
You have to survive this stage for two minutes. This isn't a really easy
stage. You have to block a lot, but don't let them get too close because
they'll throw. You have to evade, too. Block, and when there's an
opening, attack. You can also evade and then do a dashing attack towards
an opponent. There are many things you can do to survive, but what
matters is...can you take it?
Try to keep dashing away for a really long time, but when one of the
guys gets too close, try doing one or two attacks and dashing away
again. If you can survive for at least 40 seconds per life, then this
will be a pretty easy stage.

|China| Stages
¯¯¯¯¯
Chinese Courtyard:
Your enemies are...well, it depends on who you're using, but there's
three of them. All three of the enemies are the same character, but they
are the rival of the character you are using. Two of them have one life
each, while the other has two lives. You are given three lives. This is
a really frustrating stage, especially when you seem powerless and you
can't beat them.
Trust me, 'You Can Do It If You Really Try'. Well, you have to evade
quite often and get a quick attack in once in a while on one of the
enemies. Try attacking one of the one-life guys, since once they die,
there will be less guys left to fight. Once/if you have a full Rage
meter, use it, and wreak havoc! This is probably the only "easy" way to
win, even though it still isn't easy. But once you beat this stage, on
to The Forgotten Temple.

The Forgotten Temple:
You will fight Hei-Mudan, except there are three of her!? You are
given five lives, while two of the Hei-Mudans have two lives, while the
other only has one life. Try killing the one with one life first. Block
and evade as much as possible, getting in a few quick hits in there once
in a while until you have a full Rage meter. Use your Rage and get rid
of these enemies. Shouldn't be too hard, you're given an equal number of
lives as all three of them combined.

Shaolin Temple:
Lei-Gong is your enemy, and he supposedly has the power to use the
weather. But if he did, you'd be dead in one hit. You and he both have
six lives. Okay, he is a really cheap character and loves ducking. If
you don't have the right move to hit him with, this is really hard. Do
not block for long, otherwise, he'll grab you, which he just loves to
do. He also has some funky attacks like levitating near the top of the
ceiling and going down slowly and doing a flying sidekick or a smashing
headbutt from the top. He has some really cheap attacks. Be careful,
this might take you a while.
The easiest way to defeat him is to just stand there in a neutral
position. Once you see an opening, do one of the juggles the character
you are using has, or just keep doing the same launcher, it should be
able to hit at least four times if you use the right launcher. Then
back up and stand there again. Just keep doing this until he dies.
Once your Rage meter is full, use it and just try to kill him, it
could be the only way for some characters. Before you can proceed on to
the next stage, you must have 35 Chambers (you get the 35th Chamber by
beating this stage). Otherwise, you'll beat Lei-Gong and you won't have
access to the next stage. You can then get the other Chambers then come
back, but you have to fight Lei-Gong again, so I wouldn't risk it if
Lei-Gong is really difficult for you.

Inner Sanctum:
The last stage. Mong Zhu's your opponent. Both of you guys have nine
lives. And he's a really quick character, but I don't think he's as
cheap as Lei-Gong. This is where all of your skills you've learned on
this quest comes in handy. Block and evade is the key, and once he
activates his Rage, watch out, just evade as long as possible. Block
until you see an opening, then attack and keep him away. It's gonna be a
long battle, unless you use your Rage meter once you can and kill as
many of his lives you can.

Part 6: Moves' Damage
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
In this section, I shall give the damage for each hit of each move in

Damage may vary depending on position of your character and your
opponent. The damage of each move is based on normal damage, no Rage,
and done with the opponent trapped against the wall. Number of hits may
vary as well if not done with the opponent trapped against the wall.

Part 7: Using ODB & Against ODB
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Ol' Dirty is a very unique character with a lot of quick, odd moves.
He has a really quick combo that can be executed, then you evade, then
do it again. He has some really crazy juggles and they're pretty high-
hitting, too, some true eight+ hit juggles. He can do a 10+ hit combo,
but it's not exactly a juggle since it's a move. The move is Scorpion
Kicks (D, F+K1, K1). He's a pretty easy guy to use, and if you don't use
him correctly, you'll fail in a match against a 'player'.
_____________________
|Close-Range Fighting:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Most of ODB's attacks are close range, so you must mix-up tremendously
to hit your opponent. Besides, some of his attacks are unpredictable
anyway.

Follow the standing P1 with:
============================
1. P1 (to P1 links)
2. F+P1 (to F+P1 links)
3. F+P2 (to F+P2 juggles)
4. D, F+K2 (to D, F+K2 links)
5. Crouch+P1 or P2
6. Crouch+K1 or K2
7. Grab
______________________
|Medium-Range Fighting:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
The standing P2 isn't really medium-range, but it sorta' is. It has
quite some range.

Follow the standing P2 with:
============================
1. P1 (to P1 links)
2. F+P1 (to F+P1 links)
3. F+P2 (to F+P2 juggles)
4. B, D, F+K2 (to B, D, F+K2 links)
5. Crouch+P1 or P2
6. Crouch+K1 or K2
7. Grab
____________________
|Long-Range Fighting:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Don't get too far away, but ODB can get pretty far, since his standing
P1+P2 has some range it can be used to get closer to your opponent.
__________________
|Crouching Attacks:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
His crouching attacks are pretty slow, but his only crouching attack
that hits low is CR+K2. The other crouching attack you can use is CR+P1.
_______________________________
|Countering Opponent's Mistakes:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Just rush in and attack with any attack you got. It's actually pretty
easy. And the way ODB fights, he's actually pretty difficult to figure
out (sometimes) unless you come to understand him by using him.
Try countering with ODB's standing P1+P2. It temporarily (very short)
stuns your opponent. If you execute this and it hits your opponent, you
can do almost anything you want (juggle recommended).
______________
|Miscellaneous:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
He's a fun character to use. Use him in an odd way (like a drunk) and
you should be able to succeed. Don't worry too much, it shouldn't be too
hard to win.
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
____________
|Against ODB:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Well, watch out for his sudden attacking out of nowhere and then
following it up with another attack. Try to not let him juggle you and
if you can, attempt to Counter his attacks. It isn't really easy
fighting against an ODB pro, or any character for that matter.

- ODB Character Profile
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Name Ol' Dirty Bastard
A.K.A.'s Dirt McGirt, Joe Bananas, and Ol' Dirt Schultz
Story:
Just about the most outspoken member of the Wu-Tang, ODB has become
recognized for his brutal honesty. He became equally well known for
some of the most outrageous lyrics in Hip-Hop as demonstrated on his
solo release entitled 'Return to the 36 Chambers - The Dirty Version'.
He has also served a vital role in the greater Wu family, like his
lyrical style, his masterful 'Drunken' fighting styel, a favorite of
the Wu-Tang, can be devastating against any opponent. The range of
positions he can attack from will always leave the enemy guessing
which direction the next blow will come from. He has perfected the art
of ground fighting, and uses the earth ground to smash his opponent to
bits.

Part 9: Basics
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
If you don't know how to move, block, crouch, and/or attack, then you
need some common sense and/or knowledge. Well, here are some basic stuff
you can do.

Dash:
To dash, push in any direction twice on the D-Pad/Joystick

Tech Roll:
When you are knocked into the air, right before your body lands on the
ground push the [Block] button (you can hold it if you wish)

Blocking:
If you stand in a neutral position, you will automatically block high
and middle attacks. To block low attacks, you must crouch and hold block.
You can also just hold block as a backup, but sometimes its better to
stand neutrally.

Flip Up:
When you are on the ground, push the [Block] button and you'll flip
up.

Activate Rage Meter:
When your Rage Meter (the red power bar under the green one) is full,
push all attack buttons simultaneously, damage you do is now doubled.

Roll:
When you are on the ground, you can roll in four different directions.
Which direction you roll is relative to the camera angle, so when you
push Up, it might be a forward/back roll or a side roll. The same thing
with the other directions.

Wake-Up Attacks:
When you are on the ground, you can push one of the attack buttons to
get up and attack.

Rising Attacks:
To do a rising attack, you must be crouching. Let go of the crouch
button and right after letting go, push an attack button, that is a
rising attack. But only some attacks differ when it's a rising attack.

Juggling:
The opponent can only be launched three times, including the original
launcher. So you can only relaunch twice during a juggle, then there's
an opportunity to do an OTG anytime during the juggle.

Miscellaneous Stuff:
For moves that require you to push a direction (L, R, U, or D), you
can change the direction of each movement to its opposite (L with R,
U with D) and do the move like that and it'll still come out normally.
Also, if you hit the opponent while they are on the ground, the damage
they take is reduced a lot.

Part 10: Frequently Asked Questions
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
1. What is your best record with any character for each type of record?
___________
|Story Mode:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Character Rank Streak Continues Time Chambers Got
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Raekwon Abbot 16 none 00:17:10 ALL
____________
|Time Attack:|
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Character Time Defeated Stages Chambers Received
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯
Raekwon 00:17:10:35 ALL ALL

The other records don't matter. I played through all of the stages,
never continued, never played the same stage more than once, and got all
of the chambers. I wonder what I'd get if I skipped all of the bonus
stages...for Time Attack.

2. What's the Parental Lockout Code?
The Parental Lockout Code is...

/\ O X X [] /\ O []

If you think I copied PRevolution's FAQ, I didn't. I bought this game
the day after it came out. Be forewarned, if you already have secrets
for the game without the Parental Lockout Code, then you can't have the
Memory Card with your file in Slot 1, otherwise it would load that data
and you'd never get a chance to put the code in. If you put the code
in, then you'll be losing the stuff you earned. It's on you.

These paragraphs below are of my previous response.

Sorry, I'm not going to tell you. If you don't have
the instruction manual, then it could mean you got the game illegally,
even if you didn't, so I'm not going to tell you. I want to respect what
Paradox Entertainment did, and that's not distributing the code to
whoever doesn't have the manual. It wouldn't be fair to people who had
to get the instruction manual. If you got a burn of this game, well,
that's just how it is for you, isn't it?
Actually, if you want the code, check out the GameFAQs Message Board.

3. What are some of your "best" juggles?
Like I said before, I'm not going to tell my secrets to the whole
world. I did that once with Ehrgeiz, and I'm not going to do it again.

Have any questions or if you can help me answer any questions that
need confirmation, then E-mail them to lbdangc@aol.com
